Well, here we are, 1 whole year since the whole world stood still.
After reaching out to The Everyday Magazine in October 2020, looking for some creative motivation and purpose during lockdown, I've been lucky enough to delve into the various aspects of Journalism and Publication. Working behind the scenes of this community based, non-profit magazine has been so rewarding, and has offered me a creative outlet during such trying times.
This little zine of poetry was a small idea of mine a couple of months ago, which I took full lead in designing and developing. I wanted to commemorate a year of lockdowns with something positive to showcase our solidarity over the last year, ensuring our writers were at the forefront.
So, I hope this little zine of poetry finds you well, but if not, may the wise words of our writers soothe your soul.
